Introduction to the Company
Our client, a leader in the provision of warehousing and logistics, is seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to join their team. With extensive industry experience, our client operates state-of-the-art warehouses, strategically located in the East Midlands.
Description of the role:
Offer professional HR support ensuring compliance with policies and legal obligations.
Provide guidance to Directors and managers on various HR challenges.
Manage organisational changes.
Optimise HR functions through effective use of management information systems.
Lead recruitment, induction, and probation processes.
Stay updated on changes in employment law and ensure adherence.
Coordinate Health & Safety matters in partnership with external consultants.
Oversee statutory reporting requirements and manage the Apprenticeship Levy.
Promote internal employee engagement initiatives.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold data protection standards.About you:
CIPD Qualified Level 5 or equivalent, preferably MCIPD.
Experience in Warehouse/Logistics or Manufacturing environments preferred.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Proactive with excellent organisational abilities.
Commercial understanding of HR as a service function.
