Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The role
Reporting into the Engineering Manager you will provide support to the site to ensure maximum utilisation of plant, systems and machinery whilst maintaining the company standards of quality, productivity, environment and health & safety areas.
You will be responsible for maintaining the engineering capability of the plant in line with the needs of the business, monitor and maintain the planned maintenance system, highlight to the appropriate personnel any potentially serious breakdown situations, ensure effective communication with all relevant department and assist with/arrange the maintenance of site services as appropriate
The person
Our ideal candidate will have the knowledge of and compliance with all food safety & quality policies and procedures. You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in engineering, be able to adopt and proactively promote Company core and team values and to demonstrates a desire to question processes and efficiency and to seek change. With a keen eye for detail and accuracy who can take responsibility for their key duties and their performance, you will have strong communication skills, both verbal and strong organisational and interpersonal skills, proactive and flexible in working approach and FMCG experience would be advantageous.
