Job Overview:
As a Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the technical compliance and quality of our food products. You will lead a team of technical professionals, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role is pivotal in supporting our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality food products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and mentor the technical team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
* Develop and implement technical strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, including HACCP, BRC, and other relevant standards.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
* Develop and maintain food safety programs, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
* Provide technical guidance and support throughout the product development lifecycle.
* Customer & Supplier Relations:
* Act as the technical point of contact for customers and suppliers, addressing any queries or concerns.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a technical management role within the food industry.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, regulations, and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, BRC).
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
