You will be part of a leading independent UK-based IT company, providing data security solutions and professional services to a wide variety of customers within the UK and Europe.
They pride themselves on providing world class consultancy, engineering, and support services through focused customer engagement with a strong emphasis on customer experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a flair for technology that has proven B2B sales experience. You will create your own personal brand with both prospects, vendors, and partners. Communication with senior level management is a key part of the role as is a keen commercial awareness.
You will have strong interpersonal skills with a brand ambassador mindset that exudes gravitas and inspires confidence in face-to-face engagements. Self-motivated and driven, you are able to channel your high energy levels into a positive “can-do” approach allowing you to repeatedly bounce back after set-back.

Responsibilities
Operate sales engagement from “cradle to grave”
Manage own workflow, to ensure relationship building is main focus
Book own meetings to develop pipeline business – targeting large Mid-market to large Enterprise organisations with Consultancy/ Professional Services
Adhere to company best practice, using methodical and structured sales engagement
Reach and exceed individual sales targets
Work with Sales & Marketing Management in support of key metrics and objectives
Work with the Operations Team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Liaise with the Services Team to maintain visibility over customer account activity
Convert technical product messaging into call scripts and position content accordingly
Fastidiously update the CRM with your activities
Identify and profile prospective customers
Skills, attributes, and experience:
Minimum 3 years sales experience involving complex ‘solution and services’ sales
Evidence of a flexible, ‘can do’ attitude to maximize personal contribution to the role
Strong telephone and presentation skills
Self-motivated with a strong desire to win
Full driving licence
Must be comfortable in all aspects of ‘new business hunting’
Able to learn new products and services quickly
Strong commercial awareness and experience
Work well under pressure and multi-task whilst retaining exceptional attention to detail
A critical thinker with an ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Able to understand and navigate customer hierarchy, maintaining good relationships with key stakeholders
Excellent listening skills and interpretation skills to understand exactly what customers require
Strong time management thriving in a multi-task environment with ability to reprioritise on the fly
Good team player willing to share information and foster a positive team environment
Organised, structured and efficient underpinned by good planning
Strong commitment to customer success and engagement
Ability to manage / build relationships with C-suite
