Layout Designer - Remote

Konker is recruiting for a Layout Designer to come and join an award-winning architectural practice based in Worthing.
 
Due to a growing workload within their residential team, they are looking for an experienced Layout Designer to join the team who has a background in working with housing builders, national plc’s and developers.
 
This position is office-based, but they are willing to offer it on a remote basis which is four days a week at home and one day in the office, subject to your location.
 
Their Worthing office is based a short walk from the train station.

As the Layout Designer, you will prepare masterplans, planning applications packs (which are successful) feasibility drawings, and lead projects from start to finish (up to £200mill in value).
 
To Be Considered: Layout Designer (Residential)  
Previous experience of working with house builders, developers, national plc’s
Thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning standards
Ability to run large projects
Excellent AutoCAD skills and knowledge of Revit would be beneficial.
Good communication skills There are excellent opportunities for career progression and to become a key member of an established but developing practice.
 
Salary will be dependent on experience but in the region of £35,000-£55,000 per annum. You will be part of a friendly office, offering competitive remuneration and opportunities for a wide range of projects, experience, and career progression.
