Lead Chef, Covent Garden London up to £35k+ tips
Located near Covent Garden, London, this Mexican street food restaurant offers authentic tacos in a fast-casual dining setting. All food is freshly prepared on site with handmade tacos and salsas.
As the Lead Chef, you will be
* Preparing homemade tacos and salsas from scratch as well as preparing al pastor
* Working alongside the owners to produce authentic Mexican food
* Managing HACCP, temperature checks and stock levels
* Leading and training a team of chefs
Opening hours are Monday to Sunday, 11:30 - 00:30
Working hours are 5/7, 48 hours per week
Our ideal candidate would be
* A strong Chef at either Chef de Partie Level or above with a proven background in Mexican cuisine or a tacoria
* Experienced at cooking authentic tacos and Mexican food
* Genuinely passionate about Mexican cuisine
* Able to take the lead in the kitchen
* A strong leader with good communication skills and the ability to train others
* Willing to learn and develop
* Flexible and willing with a positive manner
