Job Description:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning activities.
Providing one-on-one support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
Encouraging and promoting social and emotional development.
Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Collaborating with other staff members and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements:
Experience with SEN: Desirable, but not essential.
Experience with Young or Vulnerable People
Willingness to Learn: A positive and proactive attitude towards continuous professional development.
DBS Check: Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one through TimePlan Education.
