We are looking for assembly operatives in Ipswich, Suffolk! If you have any form of mechanical engineering experience, then please get in touch!
A large manufacturer are in need of new assemblers to join their team as they're forecasted a large increase in production towards the end of the summer.
The starting salary for the role is circa £12ph however this can change depending on your experience, further pay reviews will be available subject to a successful probation!
Assembly Operative duties: -
Operating various hand / power tools to assemble mechanical parts & components.
Machining as and when required
Ability to read & work from engineering drawings
Always maintain a clean & tidy work environment
Ensure the companies health & safety procedures are always adhered to
Previous product experience is desirable but not essential. We will consider any applicants who have basic knowledge of assembly or mechanics.
You must be a competent user of hand and power tools and be able to read from technical drawings independently.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 06:30-15:00. Overtime available at increased rates of pay.
This is a permanent role subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
