The role
As a Programme Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Leveraging your skills in project delivery and leadership, you will lead a mission-critical, high-profile, and complex programme with change and transformational elements.

Your key responsibilities include leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver systems for the UK's national deterrent platform, the Dreadnought class submarine. Drawing on your experience managing programmes, you will support the delivery of large and technically complex equipment/system contracts.

Day-to-day, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to a large team, prioritizing to meet delivery commitments and financial goals. You will be responsible for direct customer interaction, ensuring their confidence in Babcock's delivery. Additionally, you will:

Attend senior stakeholder meetings with Babcock leadership, Commercial, and MoD customers.
Develop and implement strategies for the program team.
Manage timelines and deliverables.This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Dreadnought Programme Manager

Strong Project and Programme Management knowledge
Experienced in delivering complex programmesQualifications for the Dreadnought Programme Manager

You will ideally hold a project management qualification such as APM PMQ, ChPP or equivalentWe value difference and don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
