Mechanical Production Supervisor
Salary: £39000 to £41600
Location: Evesham, Easily commutable from Redditch , Pershore , Worcester , Upton upon Severn , Tewkesbury , Bidford-on-Avon
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday , no shifts
Duration: Permanent

Exceptionally busy manufacturing Company require a Mechanical Production Supervisor due to an upturn in business. The role is based in a clean, very well-ordered Workshop with good quality tooling and equipment provided.
The Mechanical Production Supervisor Role:

Overall supervision of a team of 10 mechanical assemblers, welders and general/skilled operatives.
*
Delegating tasks amongst the team as per requirements.
*
Working to a weekly planner ensuring dispatch deadlines are met.
*
Assisting the QA team with checks to ensure fabricated and assembled products are in line with assembly / fabrication drawings.
*
Oversee the accuracy of material / kitting lists for teams to work upon.
*
Reporting on progress & potential delays with other departments.
*
Evaluating individuals skill sets and implementing training as required.
*
Reviewing assembly and fabrication drawings to be used by the team.
Skills/attributes required for Mechanical Production Supervisor role:
*
Experience of working as a Supervisor in an engineering / manufacturing environment is essential.
*
Experience of supervising welders / fabricators and assembly / fitting functions.
*
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload. Developed problem solving skills, including the ability to manage work demands.
*
Capacity to work independently with limited supervision.
*
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise and advise staff at all levels.
*
To be flexible and work as part of a team.
*
Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
*
Must be very ‘hands on’ and at times assist with hands-on tasks.
*
Be able to advise fitters / assemblers on mechanical assembly issues.
*
Work to tight quality standards and to uphold safe practices.
*
