Bookkeeper

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of professional qualifications and practical experience, demonstrating proficiency in AAT Level 4 or equivalent, along with a strong accounting background .
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for a portfolio of clients.
* Prepare VAT returns and management accounts.
* Handle client enquiries promptly and professionally.
* Excel
* Sage
* Provide support and guidance to junior/trainee team members.
* Occasionally visit clients for face-to-face meetings, demonstrating confidence and professionalism in client-facing situations
Qualifications and Skills:
* AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Confidence in client-facing interactions
