Our client are a global company that specialise in the built environment and civil engineering. They have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Design Manager (Marine & Structure) based in Immingham, Lincolnshire.
This role is specialising in marine and structure experience.
Role:
The successful candidate will safely design, manage and co-ordinate the entire design for the project, meeting project requirements.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop and implement a Design Management Plan and BIM Execution Plan, including a SMART schedule of deliverables
Be responsible for developing the contractor's procedure for the control of Temporary Works and for ensuring it is implemented on site in accordance with regulations
To collaboratively work through the Alliance and with tier two contractors ensuring the delivery of requirements
Develop and achieve a safe, buildable and operational asset that is compliant with standards and meets the project requirements
Ensure all maintenance and inspection of the Temporary Works is carried out
Essential Requirements:
Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health & Safety Work Act 1974
Experience with large teams of employees and stakeholders in a professional manner
Educated to a degree level or equivalent in a numerate discipline, such as engineering
CSCS card
Desirable:
Membership of a relevant professional body
Working experience managing a team in a multi-discipline environment
