We are currently seeking a meticulous and organized Purchase Ledger Clerk/Assistant to join our Purchase Ledger team and contribute to our efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to develop and work as part of a successful team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain and update purchase ledgers with high accuracy

* Process supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements

* Prepare payments for suppliers and handle payment queries

* Assist with month-end closing procedures and reporting

* Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies

* Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications:

* AAT qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role

* Strong understanding of purchase ledger processes

* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.

* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail

* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
