The role of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Precast Concrete Solutions will involve:
* Assistant Quantity Surveyor vacancy position dealing a range of high end manufactured precast concrete products such as prestressed flooring, precast stairs, precast walls, prestressed walls, precast frames, precast columns and precast beams
* Primarily dealing with main contractors and house builders
* Reviewing and negotiating terms & conditions of sub-contract orders
* Dispute resolution and resolving payless notices
* Raising valuations of works carried out
* Assessing client payments and agreeing final accounts
* Resolving supply chain accounts
* Project monthly/quarterly profit analysis
* Working on projects ranging in value from £5,000 to £500,000
The ideal applicant will be an Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Precast Concrete Solutions with:
* Ideally will have Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry
* Ideally will have a Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent, however would consider candidates with a construction related HND
* Ideally will be from a Precast Concrete / Steelwork / Groundworks background
* Willingness to learn and develop
* Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
* Able to work within a team and individually
* Confident and articulate
