Job Description
To prepare beverages for guests and as called for by servers following SMI recipes and guidelines for preparation, presentation and accountability in a cost efficient manner.  Ensure compliance with all liquor laws in the preparation, serving and consumption of alcoholic beverages for any and all Banquet events and locations.  Bartender is responsible for maintaining high service standards and providing all liquors outlined in BEO. Reporting to the Banquet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Outgoing, friendly personality
Guest expectations
Prepare beverages and satellite bars
Interaction with guests
Compliance with liquor laws
Accountability
Control bar costs
Maintain cleanliness of the bar
Control cost and waste in the work area
Close out paper work- consumption reports
Handle cash transactions
