We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our dynamic team. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers, and we're looking for a skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our inventory to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Your role will be crucial in supporting our e-commerce and Amazon sales channels. This will be a part-time to full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
Order and manage all inventory, ensuring optimal levels at all times.
Develop and implement an effective inventory strategy to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Proactively manage out-of-stock rates to ensure continuous product availability.
Order inventory considering Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), delivery speed, and net terms to secure the best pricing.
Coordinate shipping and delivery of products, including managing freight forwarding.
Design and implement an improved inventory management system for enhanced tracking and reporting.
Forecast inventory needs based on direct-to-consumer (DTC) and Amazon sales trends.
Analyze sales data to predict future inventory requirements and adjust ordering strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Marketing, to align inventory management with overall business goals.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inventory management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
