About the Role:We are looking for an Assembler to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. This position ensures customer satisfaction by providing safe, reliable operation of Eriez equipment that is intended to protect our customers and their customers.
Responsibilities:
Use specialized tools and fixtures electrical and mechanical to complete assembly
Basic electrical knowledge to connect power to electrical devices
Able to read and follow engineering drawings, assembly procedures, instruction manuals and material/pick lists to complete assemblies
Able to operate the ceramic saw
Stand, sit, push, pull lift up to 50lbs
Able to assemble and charge basic magnetic circuits
Complete tasks timely and efficiently in accordance with expectations as directed by supervisor
Able to operate tools including but not limited to, hand tools, manual machine tools, torch, drill press, etc
Ability to learn Eriez labor and work order collection system
Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered
Requirements
A high school diploma is preferred
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and use basic shop math including decimals and fractions
Able to use epoxies and adhesives as required in assembly applications
Able to work in a safe manner dealing with powerful magnets and high voltage
More than 2 years of general assembly job experience or specialized training
Knowledge of how to weld and operate a mig welder
Willingness to tackle a flexible schedule and on-time arrival for shifts
Concentrate on quality assurance
