Job Summary
The Sales Engineer is a professional who supports IPConfigure's Sales and Engineering groups in selling technology solutions to prospects and existing customers. They possess technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a track record in supporting the sales of complex enterprise solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background with a keen ability to lead customer engagements, and possess an understanding of the video surveillance industry.
Duties/Responsibilities
Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions.
Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
Manage the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a seamless transition to the IPConfigure platform.
Maintain IPConfigure sales demo infrastructure and equipment.
Effectively communicate customer needs among both sales and engineering.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
Analytic and problem-solving skills.
IT and networking experience.
Knowledge of video surveillance industry and technology is a plus.
Willingness to travel.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in technical field, or business with significant technical experience
3 years of experience in the software industry
