We are looking for a motivated and experienced Team Lead for our Finance department.
In this dynamic role, you'll take charge of the finance administration in all its facets. As Teamleader Finance Administration, you will lead and mentor a team of two employees, while also serving as a strategic partner to our Director of Finance.

Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the entire closing process, whether it is on a monthly or quarterly basis. This hands-on role is situated within a dynamic, fast-paced international organization dedicated to maintaining high technological standards across various projects. Your base of operations will be our Amsterdam office located in Duivendrecht.

  • Supervising and advising: As a leader, you will mentor and guide a team of two Finance Administrators, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment. You will also serve as a trusted advisor to the Director Finance, offering insights and strategic recommendations to support organizational goals.

  • Responsible for Cash Flow Management: Your expertise in cash flow management will ensure the financial stability and liquidity of the organization, mitigating risks and maximizing opportunities for growth.

  • Leading Budget- and Forecast Process: In partnership with the Director Finance, you will lead the budget- and forecast process, contributing to strategic insights to drive financial performance and sustainability. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to align indirect expenses with budget and forecast targets, delivering insightful reports to budget owners to facilitate informed decision-making.

  • Reviewing and Developing Processes, Procedures, and Financial Controls: You will play a key role in continuously enhancing our financial operations by reviewing and refining processes, procedures, and controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy. Your expertise will be instrumental in overseeing financial reporting and consolidating data from all VBH entities, ensuring transparency and compliance.

  • Ensuring Reliable Month- and (Quarter) Year Closing: You will lead the charge in ensuring our financial closing processes are accurate, timely, and dependable, providing crucial insights for strategic decision-making.
