Teaching Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for schools across Hackney. You will be given the opportunity to work in your preferred Year Group to support children with their learning and development.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
· Provide dedicated support in the mornings, focusing on assisting children including those with additional needs.
· Utilize your knowledge and skills to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all students.
· Collaborate closely with teachers and SENCO to implement tailored support plans and interventions.
· Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirments:
· Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
· Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Relevant qualifications and/or training in education, SEN, or child development are desirable.#
