Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker
Location: Derby, East Midlands
Salary: £33,551 per annum (rising to £34,020 after successful probation)
About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated Residential Childcare Support Workers to join our team in Derby, East Midlands, and Walsall, West Midlands. As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to children and young people in a residential setting. Your responsibilities will include offering emotional and practical support, promoting independence, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people
Assist with daily activities and routines
Create a safe and supportive environment
Promote independence and life skills development
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
Level 3/4 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce (advantageous)
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Residential Childcare Support Worker
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A compassionate and caring attitude
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
