Company Overview:
Coinford is a groundworks and concrete frame specialist that delivers contracts ranging from £1million to £50million throughout London and the Southeast of England. This role works out of our Head office, Redeham Hall.
Role Purpose/Objective:
As the Purchase Ledger Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a purchase ledger team of six and provide support to the Payables Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• To accurately check all invoices and chase goods received notes.
• Matching, batching, and coding invoices.
• Processing invoices.
• Ensuring at all stages that relevant coding and authorisation is completed.
• Monthly statement reconciliations.
• Effectively and promptly resolve queries/disputes by liaising with staff and suppliers whilst providing excellent service, keeping in mind the best interests of the company at all times.
• Assisting with producing payment runs, twice monthly across all companies.
• Ad hoc payments, Cheque, Bacs, and Chaps.
• Various ad-hoc duties as required by the Payables Manager.
• Assist in the preparation of purchase ledger year end.
• Processing of director’s expenses along with company credit cards.
• To cover the Payables Manager in any absence.
Experience/skills required:
* Knowledge and experience of working within the Construction industry, preferably with experience from working at Site level.
* Resilience.
* Communication skills – ability to communicate at all levels.
* Time management & organisation skills – ability to manage differing streams of work, respond to needs of business in a timely manner, balancing priorities.
Qualifications:
* Absolute minimum GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics
