Randstad C&P are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer on behalf of one of our key facilities management clients.

As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will lead a team of Maintenance Engineers, ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive and high-quality property maintenance service across all facilities on site. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for both the operational and strategic aspects of the engineering workforce, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of a static commercial site in Durham.

This is a full-time, permanent position and the main working hours will be Monday to Friday, 38.75 hours per week.

The Package:

Competitive annual salary of £38,000 per annum
Core working hours 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Training and development courses Main Duties:

Direct line management of the engineering workforce.
Monitor performance and ensure that the engineering team meets relevant task KPIs.
Allocate tasks to appropriate staff using the CAFM system.
Take on Authorised Person duties in relevant areas.
Participate in the Engineers On-Call rota.
Provide technical support and guidance to the workforce.Candidate Requirements:

Qualified time-served Electrician with significant post-qualification experience.
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5 (desirable).
BS7671 18th Edition certification.
Experience in a supervisory role.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Maintenance experience.
