Salary: £150-£300 per day
Exciting Opportunity for a Subject Leader in PSHE in Slough
GSL Education is currently seeking a number of experienced and dynamic Subject Leaders in PSHE to join our client schools in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the PSHE curriculum and make a significant impact on the personal, social, health and economic education of students.
As a Subject Leader in PSHE, your responsibilities will include:
Leading the development and implementation of the PSHE curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all students.
Planning and delivering engaging and informative PSHE lessons that cover a range of topics, including personal development, social issues, health, and economic education.
Supporting and mentoring PSHE teachers, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the PSHE curriculum, making improvements as necessary.
Collaborating with other subject leaders and school staff to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to student education and well-being.
Engaging with parents, guardians, and the wider community to promote the importance of PSHE and support student development.
Candidate Qualifications and Attributes:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with significant experience teaching PSHE.
Proven leadership experience within an educational setting, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues.
A strong understanding of the PSHE curriculum and the ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
A commitment to promoting the well-being and personal development of students.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to inclusive education.
Must hold an enhanced, Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
