A ‘Good’ mixed school in Newham are seeking a Teacher of Physical Education to join them from next term onwards. This is a full-time role lasting at least until July in the first instance. You will be expected to teach PE at KS3 and KS4, so previous experience of Teaching Physical Education at the secondary level is essential.
The Role:
* Strong knowledge of the Physical Education curriculum at key stages 3 and 4.
* Organised and professional manner.
* Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the Physical Education department and throughout the school.
* Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
* Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive Physical Education lessons.
* Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience Teaching Physical Education at the secondary level.
* As a Teacher of Physical Education you must have a genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
