TeacherActive is working with a vibrant secondary school in Newton Abbot. The school boasts an ambitious and inclusive curriculum, teaching responsibility and leadership skills for their pupils.
The Senior Leadership Team is looking for a dynamic History Teacher to join on a long term, full time basis. The successful History Teacher will be working across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. You will be nurturing the inquisitive minds of your pupils, providing them with the positive foundations in analytical skills.
The successful History Teacher will need to have:
QTS with History specialism (Early Career Teachers / ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
Experience teaching Humanities up to Key Stage 4 / KS4 (Key Stage 5 / KS5 desirable)
The ability to teach across the wider Humanities curriculum
Clear rules and routines for behaviour in classrooms
A passion and drive to coach the pupils you work with
