Role Overview:

You will be based in an open-plan office, working for our brand Nuttall and based in Dudley, DY2. Helping shape the industry for nearly 60 years, Nuttall is the UK’s foremost specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of retail environments. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team that value teamwork and supports each other towards a common goal.

With a focus on our entire range of company products and services, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of assigned customers, developing new business from existing clients and actively seeking new opportunities. You will lead the customer account planning cycle and ensure assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met, as well as maintaining and developing assigned accounts to achieve sales profit while building strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

* Establish, manage and develop productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders and operate as the lead point of contact for matters specific to your customers, developing a comprehensive understanding of their brand and needs.

* Assess and clarify customer needs on an on-going basis, ensuring customer requirements and expectations have been identified and actioned.

* Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs and objectives.

* Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to all stakeholders, including preparing statistics/reports/KPIs regarding performance against set measures and forecast/track key account metrics.

* Develop the quality goals and targets in the organisation’s strategic plan.

* Investigate/action any quality issues with regard to internal non-conformances and site issues in a timely manner. Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.

* Co-ordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.

* Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.

* Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas.

* Identify and grow opportunities to ensure growth attainment.

* This position may have people management responsibilities and direct line reports assigned to support with specific customers.

You’re All We Need:

* Proven Account Management experience within a similar role

* Relevant qualifications (SMSTS, Black Card CSCS)

* Proficient in negotiation, demonstrating strong commercial acumen.

* Ability to work autonomously, under own initiative with excellent time management skills.

* Builds excellent relationships with customers, consumers, and internal/external stakeholders.

* A natural multitasker with a self-motivated "can-do" attitude

* Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

* Must be computer literate (Excel, Word, MS Projects etc.)

* Experience within the retail and fit-out sector would be advantageous.

* A full driving license is required, and this role requires extensive travel and out-of-hours work.
