Working for this PPE, medical and cleanroom consumable multi-product manufacturer, as Product Development Manager, your role will be a mixture of developing the existing product range and bringing new products to market using your product development skillset.
Salary – Up to £55,000pa + bonus (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Location: Skegness, Lincolnshire with the option to apply for the flexible working policy
Job Type: Permanent / Full Time / Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Benefits: 30 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing to 33 days for loyalty service, Company Sick Pay scheme, A generous yearly bonus paid every January, to all staff.
The Role
This role involves leading a small team of project leaders to drive the development of products through the Research & Development pipeline.
Collaborating closely with the New Product Development team, you’ll spearhead the creation and market introduction of new technological solutions, reshaping the markets we serve.
We're seeking a Product Development Manager with project and people management experience, capable of promoting Research & Development internally. Joining at a dynamic stage of growth, this role offers the chance to work with a technical team to bring innovative products to a global market, providing significant personal development opportunities.
Key responsibilities include meeting product development KPIs, fostering innovation, supporting strategic decisions, managing development systems, building external relationships, enhancing team project management skills and maintaining development records.
You’ll need experience or training as a project manager as well as experience in managing people, a full UK/EU driving licence is also required. Scientific backgrounds are ideal, but we are open to all physical product industries.
