Multi – Trade Maintenance Operative
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Cambridge
Hours: Monday – Friday 07:00am – 18:00pm plus evening call out rota
Salary: £33,132 per annum
Duration: Permanent

Duties:
* Supervising onsite contracts and ensuring work is executed to high standards.
* Overseeing both reactive and planned maintenance and repairs within the premises.
* Managing planned maintenance tasks such as fire alarm testing, emergency lighting testing, fire extinguisher checks, water hygiene flushing/temperature monitoring, shower head descaling, and health & safety inspections.
* Delivering exceptional customer service when interacting with colleagues and students.
* Conducting routine inspections of rooms as scheduled.
* Maintaining up-to-date maintenance records.
* Recording, logging, and monitoring any maintenance issues in the maintenance logbook.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Exhibits meticulous attention to detail.
* Brings prior experience in domestic electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance.
* Characterized by reliability and a strong work ethic.
* Demonstrates exceptional communication abilities.
* Possesses a comprehensive understanding of health and safety standards
