Job Title: CAD Design Technician
Job Type: Permanent
Job Description:
The CAD Design Technician will report directly to the Design Office Manager. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be adept at managing a variety of design processes and projects, and demonstrate proficiency with computers and relevant software.
Key Skills and Software Proficiency:
Inventor 3D
2D CAD software
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Previous experience in a similar roleRoles and Duties:
Assisting the Design Office Manager in managing CAD/Drawing standards.
Developing and maintaining documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and drawing publication.
General software troubleshooting.
Developing new machinery as needed.
Overseeing the design and documentation of standard parts in conjunction with the Design Office Manager.
Programming standard configurable machines.
Providing general design troubleshooting and advice.Additional Information:
This is a permanent position.
Salary will be discussed during the interview and will be based on experience and qualifications.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 08:00 am to 17:00 pm, and Friday from 08:00 am to 16:30 pm.
Salary range: £20,000 - £30,000 annually, depending on experience and knowledge.Click Apply to Apply
