Maybe you are considering becoming a supply teacher, the work/life balance is a tightrope that all teachers are walking at the moment and at Academics we aim to give free & impartial advice. Before taking a plunge and potentially leaving education full stop, give us a call and discuss your options.
You might be a supply teacher registered with a different agency or even multiple agencies but for whatever reason you are not getting the amount of work you are desiring. If this is the case we would love to hear from you. You might be wondering what it is that we do different, how can we help if the other agency can't... The answer is simple, we don't do anything different, we just aim to do it better, more personable, more contactable and more accountable.
We speak to a number of people from all different levels of experience on a daily and weekly basis, the stories we are hearing are remarkably similar. We will speak to everyone on an individual basis and we appreciate that Everybody's circumstances are different. We will aim to get to know you well enough to be able to completely tailor the supply process for you, to make sure you are not in a position where you are being offered unsuitable work and then having to turn it down.
