Summary:
CCA Specialist/J-STD trainer is responsible for maintaining, planning, and coordinating the CCA J-STD training requirements. Additional responsibilities will include planning, coordinating of work to meet the goals for CCA. This position will work primarily with Production but interfacing with Engineering will be required. Must be able to problem solve and resolve issues independently. Must possess strong mechanical assembly skills and follow IPC-610 guidelines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Read, interpret and follow prints, diagrams, engineering diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products.
Act as a Liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing on clarity of the work instructions, the design and any manufacturing improvements. May be required to modify work instructions and create SOP’s if necessary.
Perform electro-mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies including box build and circuit card assemblies. Assembly may consist of operations such as electronic parts placement, wiring, mechanical assembly, proto-typing, soldering using a variety of hand tools and equipment necessary to complete operations
Perform all work in accordance to quality and process standards.
Follow safety procedures.
Cross training to other CCA job functions is a requirement. This allows CCA to be flexible when coverage is needed for scheduled vacations and when there has been a change in customer demand.
Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow the 5s policies.
Work independent or in a team environment.
Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.

Other Duties & Responsibilities:
IPC 610 and/or J-STD.
Ability to work with ITAR controlled documents.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Must exhibit good judgment and strong decision making skills
Required to follow ESD controls.
Skill in collecting and analyzing complex or technical data.
Ability to work with a team and receive or communicate directions effectively.
Ability to establish goals and objectives.
Ability to plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others.
Requirements
Educational / Experience Qualifications:
Certified as a J-STD Trainer.
High school diploma required.
5-10 years relevant work experience required.
Supervisory Responsibility:
The trainer is responsible to coordinate and manage all employees to maintain their certification.
This position manages some of the employees of the department and is responsible for some employee performance management and hiring within that department.

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Ability to use a microscope.
Dexterity to use tools for mechanical assembly. May also require repetitive motions.
Vision uses may require close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Lifting/Moving - Must be able to properly move up to 25 pounds.
