Requirements
The Sales Team
The ESG Book Sales team is responsible for communicating ESG Book's products to interested parties. We originate new opportunities and develop existing relationships with clients and our strategic partners. Our clients include Financial Institutions, Consultants and Corporates.
To be effective we must understand the mechanics of our product offerings in depth and effectively communicate this to interested parties. We hire individuals who are passionate about sustainability and who bring an entrepreneurial mindset. We look to think outside the box and value creativity and initiative.

The role:
We are looking to hire a Sales (Associate) Director to join the ESG Book team in London. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible and accountable for driving growth across the US region but also other opportunistic regions, from business development to executing sales. In turn, you will gain a deep understanding of our firm, our philosophy, and the dynamics of our products. You will collaborate closely with the Research and Product teams and the wider ESG Book to deliver for our clients and strategic partners.
Your role will involve:
·         Contributing to the sales strategy, growing, and building out our presence across the North American markets.
·         Representing ESG Book when reaching out to banks, other financial institutions, corporates, etc. to pitch our offering.
·         Supporting the education of our clients on Sustainability/ESG and the data & products accessible through ESG Book.
·         Developing, driving, and delivering plans and strategies for achieving company’s sales goals.
·         Creating and reviewing supporting materials for external and internal purposes (e.g., project presentations, marketing material).
·         Managing relationships with existing clients and acting as a point of contact to ensure a smooth and mutually beneficial partnership.
·         Assessing market intelligence and feedback to ensure ESG Book’s offer is aligned with client’s demands.
Requirements:
Passionate about sustainability with a motivation to influence and advance industry standards.
Client-focused mindset with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships across a diverse range of prestigious financial institutions.
At least 5 years (Associated Director) / 7 years (Sales Director) of sales experience directly targeting financial institutions, preferably in roles focused on sustainability or financial data solutions.
Demonstrated success in a leading regional role for large-scale institutional sales with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to independently manage your schedule and lead initiatives as an ‘entrepreneur’ within our team.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
