Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an a POS Development Engineer to work for an established POS manufacturer based in Leicester
This position is a straight permanent position
The Job:
Responsible for producing development solutions to support the Prototyping, Estimating & Client Services teams
Develop cost effective unit to suit the most effective route to manufacture
Conduct site surveys as and when required
Salary is expected to be £45k but dependant on your experience
28 days holiday per year plus Christmas shut-down and a day off on your birthday
About You:
Need to have previous experience in a POS business
Able to use SolidWorks and MS Office software
Ability to think laterally, create solutions to a given design brief
Be pro-active, inquisitive and challenging
Self motivated and able to manage projects from brief through to production
Ability to multi task between multiple projects
Capable of preparing drawings and planograms
Sustainability to be front of mind when developing solutions
