The successful Electrical Engineer will be responsible for creating the tools and providing support and guidance to the Design / Production teams in order to build and complete the projects in line with the customer requirements and specifications.
The role will include but no limited to:
Creating Electrical schematics inclusive of cable schedules/calculations/single-line diagrams/block diagrams / I/O lists
Creating BOM's/engineering documentation.
Assist the power electronics team members with integration of electrical design.
Undertake and ensure design data/simulations/calculations are captured and stored (technical design file).
Creation & compilation of operation & maintenance manuals.
Creation & performing of RAMS/FMEA's/HAZID's/HAZOP's/Final inspections/validation of electrical designs
To be successful in this role of Electrical Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
Academically qualified - HNC Electrical and/or Electronic or above.
Circa 10 years experience working within an Electrical Engineering position.
Sound foundation and knowledge of Power Electronics would be advantageous.
Familiar with mechanical assembly of devices and copper busbar systems.
Knowledge of panel assembly/fabrication techniques.
Previous knowledge of design/manufacturing processes & control panels.
Good knowledge of electrical standards/compliance
Full UK clean driving license (travel may be required on an ad hoc basis).
