Multi-national Business Services Group based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, has a requirement for a Divisional Finance Manager to undertake a position within the Central Finance function with responsibility for Fixed and Lease asset accounting.
What will the Divisional Finance Manager role involve?
Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, the key responsibilities of the Financial Controller position will include:
Business Partnering with lease asset stakeholders both internally and externally regarding the management and maintenance of ongoing leases;
Ensure financial governance and control are aligned to current Accounting Standards and Group’s accounting policies and manuals;
Working with capital investment team in the area of capital expenditure proposals, overseeing the process to full approval to enable the successful delivery of the capex portfolio;
Act as key point of contact for Fixed and Lease Assets for the business both in the UK and supporting colleagues in international offices;
Leading and managing a team including ensuring development plans are in place to ensure a high quality service is delivered.
Suitable Candidate for Financial Controller vacancy:
Applicants for the position will hold a full accountancy qualification and possess a strong technical skill set;
Previous experience of working within a similar position within a large, corporate entity would be highly advantageous but the client would also welcome applications from candidates looking to make their first move out of Public Practice.
