Print Assistant / Pre-Press Operator - Packaging & Labels
Location: Leicestershire

Company: A leading packaging and self-adhesive labels company.
Role: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a print assistant / pre press to join a busy production team. The main purpose of this role is to assist a No.1 printer by ensuring all presses are ready on time.
*
Quality checking regularly to ensure product meets required standards, dealing with any problems
*
Working in a busy production room
*
Ensure all lines are prepared in all aspects to assist in achieving daily/weekly plan
*
Loading reels into press, setting presses, changing anilox, preparing and populating inks, mounting plates etc.
*
Passing the necessary job information along to the next process
*
Maintaining general housekeeping duties within area
*
Complete all necessary paperwork
Requirements:
*
Experience working within a print, packaging and/or self-adhesive labels manufacturer
*
Experience within a busy production environment
*
Team player
*
Ability to manage own workload and tasks efficiently
*
Self-managing, proactive, ability to use own initiative
*
Must be able to work the hours required to meet the requirements of the job
*
Must adhere to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
*
Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment
*
Strong communication skills
