Technical coordinator - Food
Bath / Working from home / Hybrid
Hours circa 30 hours per week
Salary circa £30,000 Pro rata
My client, a very successful and growing family owned food manufacturer is looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator / Customer Support Technologist / Technical administrator / Technical services for a newly created position.
The successful person will manage all customer facing technical requirements, be that specifications, artwork approval and label management or handing technical customer queries and complaints. This role offers remote / hybrid working and will suit a person that wants to work for a growing award winning company
The Role:
·Handle customer complaints and queries.
·Complete specifications and technical documentation to meet customer and food safety requirements.
·Management of online specification portals.
·Approval of company artwork, ensuring that all legal requirements are met.
·Completion of customer questionnaires.
·Support with NPD/EPD projects ensuring that all information is available for completing customer specifications and technical documentation.
·Support with the completion of technical administration tasks.
The candidate should have:
·Great customer facing skills
·Attention for detail
·A food related degree or equivalent experience
·Experience in specification writing and using spec systems
·Experience in signing off product artwork
·Experience in using Microsoft Office
·Good technical food standards (Food safety and quality standards)
·Good attention to detail
·Be able to work in a team and under your own initiative
This role may suit a person that has previously worked in specifications, technical services, technical support
