Redfish are proudly supporting a flagship transportation project set to redefine rail travel in south Wales.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with Electrification and Plant (E&P) experience. The primary task will be reviewing system designs and ensuring their compliance, integration and co-ordination.

The role demands a professional with a proven track record in the rail industry, particularly in electrification projects hand back and assurance processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of new electrical systems and the safe, efficient handover of completed project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the electrical engineering activities for the rail project, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

* Oversee the hand back process, guaranteeing that all electrical works meet the required quality and safety benchmarks.

* Validate all parts of the engineering lifecycle including design, construction activities, testing and commissioning, and site supervision.

* Ensure the quality of design, construction testing and commissioning and management systems are appropriate.

Required:

* Significant experience in engineering disciplines, ideally with involvement in construction and design projects across multi discipline areas.

* Technical qualifications to at least HND level or equivalent.

On offer is a long-term contract up to 2 years work and hybrid working arrangements. You will need to spend 2/3 days on site which is near Cardiff.
