Procurement Specialist
Our local authority client seeks an experienced Procurement Specialist to become part of their dynamic team in Cardiff. Full details are as follows:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Leading, directing and co-ordinating a programme of sourcing activity and ensuring effective contract and supplier relationship management to maximise value for money and deliver targeted savings across the assigned categories / sub-categories. Providing advice and guidance to support the framework members, category team members and Service Area staff with respect to procurement procedures and processes.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
* CIPS qualified / Working towards CIPS
* Minimum 3 years relevant experience of procurement and contracting in the Public Sector.
* Experience of procurement within the Professional Services Category
