Making the world a safer, more secure place is what really matters to them. I am seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join their highly experienced team.
You will play a key role in the design of their award-winning security products.
Key duties include:
* Design and facilitate the transition of future products to mass production.
* Interpret requirements specifications and develop electrical/electronic designs accordingly.
* Select appropriate electrical/electronic components, draft schematics, and organize design layouts.
* Oversee the entire design life cycle, including prototyping, testing, and adjustments.
* Perform hands-on electrical testing of produced designs.
* Develop comprehensive test specifications for manufacturing and production purposes.
* Ensure all designs comply with EMC regulations.
* Maintain and update legacy designs.
Experience and qualifications:
* Full design cycle proficiency, from concept to manufacture and new product introduction.
* Essential: Successful track record in hardware design.
* Expertise in electronics circuit design (analog/digital).
* Proficient in high-density multilayer PCB design and schematic capture (up to 12 layers).
* Skilled in schematic capture tools like Altium or equivalent.
* Advantageous: Experience in embedded software development with languages such as Embedded C, C++, Python, and Java.
