ProDrive Recruitment Ltd are looking to recruit a Trainee Operator to join their clients busy engineering company. This is a full-time position, on a temp to permanent basis working Monday to Friday 07:45 – 16:15 at their production facilities in Malvern.
The Role:
· The role at first, will be hands on learning on how the various products are handled and processed through the working area ready to be loaded into the ovens.
· To work with other team members and supervisors to ensure that the correct work is moved through in accordance with customer orders.
· To support other team members or areas of the company as required or directed.
· To keep the working area clean and tidy
As a trainee Operative your duties will also include and not limited to:
* The learning of the production line operation, loading of and operation of the cutting board.
* The inspection and packing of the cutting line track.
* The operation of the auto glazer, loading – unloading and inspection of finished product.
* Packing of finished product for despatch to customer.
* Other areas of the production dept as required for customer requirements.
The Person:
* Some experience of working in a manufacturing/industrial environment is essential. Although full training will be provided.
* Good attention to detail and logic, an understanding of working to tight quality standards and tolerances.
* The ability to work under your own initiative or as part of a team.
* A natural desire for continuous improvement with a right first-time attitude.
In return, you will receive a salary in accordance with living wage allowance, 20 days annual holiday excluding bank holidays, standard working pattern no shift or weekend working (once fully trained, there maybe the requirement to work a Saturday 07:00 – 12:00 as overtime).
