Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software that meets the cutting-edge needs of our products and clients.
Your responsibilities as a Software Engineer:
* Collect and document software requirements to ensure clarity and comprehensiveness.
* Design and develop efficient algorithms with a focus on optimising both time and space complexity.
* Write readable, testable, and well-structured code that adheres to internal guidelines and industry best practices.
* Manage the setup, maintenance, and enhancement of the build environment and development toolset.
* Engage in regular interaction with both internal and external customers to refine software solutions and address technical queries.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and standards within the team.
Your current experience which will help you as a Software Engineer:
* A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, supplemented by relevant experience.
* Strong understanding of algorithm design and data structures, with proficient programming skills in C, C++, or similar languages.
* Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow, demonstrating the ability to integrate these tools into software solutions.
* Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with effective communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration.
* Familiarity with AUTOSAR, Basic Software Development, and safety standards applicable to software development such as MISRA and ISO26262.
* Additional skills in C#, Python, or Java; understanding of control theory; and familiarity with automotive technologies and communication protocols are highly advantageous.
