Unit Builder
Location: Stocksbridge, South Yorkshire
Shift Pattern: Mon-Thurs (Apply online only), Fri 0800–1230
Pay Rate: £11.50 p/h
Umbrella Rate: £13.50 p/h

Igloo is on the lookout for Unit Builders to join our client’s team in Stocksbridge. Our client is one of the UK’s leading automotive and transport companies, with operations across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
Within the Unit Builder role you will be responsible for the below tasks:
* Stripping, refitting & painting portacabins.
* General DIY including basic carpentry, painting & decorating, minor plumbing and minor electrical tasks.
* It is essential that applicants must adhere to safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
* All tasks must be completed with precise attention to detail and high quality work produced.
What kind of person are we looking for?
* Some knowledge of construction materials and their applications.
* Must have experience in using a range of power tools such as drills, saws, sanders and other relevant equipment.
* An understanding of safety protocols associated with the use of power tools.
* Must be able to work well as part of a team to achieve project goals.
* Background in joinery, coachbuilding, maintenance or vehicle conversion is preferable.
* Will need to have effective communication skills to coordinate ongoing tasks with colleagues and supervisors.
* Time management skills are essential to this role in order to complete tasks within established deadlines.
