Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant BD12

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Bradford

Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £77 - £95 Per day

Job Duties:

Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual needs
Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN to help them access the curriculum
Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborating with other staff members and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience working with children with SEN

Education:

Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3)

Experience:

Prior experience working with children with Special Educational Needs

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of SEN support strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid certification
Additional training in areas related to SEN support

Working Conditions:

Part-Time hours, typically during school hours
Work primarily within a classroom setting
May involve some physical activity such as assisting students with mobility

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
