Job Description: Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within a Year 1 class a primary school in Sheffield. The successful candidate will work closely with the Year 1 class teacher to help deliver the UK National Curriculum within KS1. The role is for 5 days a week, 8.30am-3.30pm each day.

Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional assistance.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Help with classroom management and behaviour support.
Contribute to planning and preparation of learning materials.Requirements:

Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum with a focus on Year 1.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting student learning.Qualifications:
