General Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities:
Provide valuable support to teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Work closely with students, either one-on-one or in small groups, to reinforce learning and promote understanding.
Collaborate with class teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of students.
Contribute to the overall positive ethos of the school by actively participating in school activities and events.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the holistic development of students.
Requirements:
A degree in any subject area, demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
Display an enthusiastic and proactive approach, showcasing passion for education and a willingness to go above and beyond to support student learning.
Flexibility and adaptability, as the role involves working across various subjects and supporting different teaching styles.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative and supportive school environment.
Hold a DBS registered to the update service or apply through GSL Education.
