Are you a performance driven R&D Electrical Engineer looking to gain experience? Our client is a well established, world leading manufacturer of specialty machinery. An expanded workload has created an immediate need for a R&D Electrical Engineer looking to gain experience or become recognized within a department that boasts longevity.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Aid in creation of industrial automation equipment with focus on electrical systems.
Ensure proper function of PLC, HMI, motion and message display for electric component control.
Produce schematic designs, panel layouts and develop BOMs.
Design measurement systems that will accurately gather data.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related plus 3 years design experience with converting equipment desired. (New grads are encouraged to apply)
Strong verbal and written skills regarding electrical design regarding converting equipment assembly and operation.
Skilled with hand tools, measuring devices and PLC or motion control software.
Proficient with AutoCAD and Solid Edge.
