Team Leader - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to oversee and support our 2nd shift operations. The ideal candidate will be a charismatic leader who is not only committed to achieving operational excellence but also to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team development. This role involves coordinating shift activities, ensuring quality and safety standards, and leading by example in a clean, climate-controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily shift activities, ensuring all production goals are met while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Coach and mentor team technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate the development of team technicians.
Drive process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives to eliminate waste and enhance productivity.
Coordinate and schedule team technicians' activities, ensuring efficient operations.
Facilitate cross-functional communication with support groups to maintain smooth and efficient processes.
Report online measurables, ensuring targets are met and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate teams.
Ability to perform frequent physical activities, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Familiarity with data entry and group dynamic skills.
