Job Duties: 

1. Prepare and cook Thai-style full meals, dishes and specialty foods as instructed by the chef.

2. Facilitate the service of all food including special meal requests, ensuring client food preferences are respected and quality presentation is maintained.

3. Prepare meals in strict adherence to our restaurant’s food standards.

4. Assist the chef in overseeing the kitchen operations.

5. Participate in menu planning and food presentation design.

6. Maintain a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.

7. Ensure food is safely stored, properly labelled, and dated after receiving to avoid spoilage and facilitate proper rotation.

8. Check the quality of ingredients.

9. Help monitor stock.

10. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

11. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and a commitment to exceptional client service.

Qualifications:

1. A High school graduation is required; Culinary school training is an advantage.

2. 2+ years of work experience as a cook.

3. Previous Thai food kitchen experience is strongly preferred.

4. Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.

5. Passionate about maintaining a positive environment for guests and coworkers.

6. Committed to working as a team.
